The Good and the Bad of Human Foods for Your Dog

Learn the human foods that are safe and which ones can send your dog to the vet.
It’s okay to give your dog table scrapes in small amounts; but you just have to know which ones are safe.


  • Peanut Butter
  • Cheese
  • Salmon
  • Eggs
  • Yogurt
  • Apple slices
  • Honey
  • Tuna
  • Baby carrots
  • Corn
  • Oatmeal
  • Green Beans
  • Pork/Ham
  • Pumpkin (can) One of my favs, I put a teaspoon in my dogs food daily to help with their digestion. (cats too).


  • Citrus fruits
  • Coconut oil
  • Macadamia nuts & almonds
  • Milk
  • Uncooked meats or eggs
  • Yeast dough
  • Garlic, onions or leeks
  • Ice cream
  • Grapes or raisins
  • Chocolate (one of the worst)

If you are not sure, it’s best to not give it to them.

Any of the foods from the bad list can cause acute intestinal distress.
